Financial Aid

Westwood utilizes FAST, Financial Aid for School Tuition powered by Independent School Management, to process financial aid applications.

FAST provides a need-based financial aid analysis service which includes an income verification process. FAST does not decide whether financial assistance will be given or how much to give, but rather provides Westwood with a recommendation of what a family can reasonably contribute towards tuition.

Westwood reviews the FAST recommendations and allocates financial aid funds to families selected by Westwood. The financial aid offered by Westwood is not a loan.*

Current families may click below to apply for FAST. Financial aid is not available for new families.

Deadlines for Current Families for the 2024-2025 School Year are as follows:
February 2nd, 2024 – Tuition and Contract Packets Distributed to Current Families
February 12th, 2024 – Current Families Completed FAST Application due
February 23rd, 2024 – Current Families 2022 tax documentation postmarked to FAST (address is listed below)
March 1st, 2024 – Current Families Westwood Contract & Deposit Due

If applying for financial aid, you must turn in a signed contract and the required deposit for the upcoming school year, indicating that your contract is pending the amount of financial aid awarded. This deposit is required to hold your child’s place, however, it is non-refundable in the event that you decline the financial aid offer made by Westwood.

The non-refundable FAST application fee is $53. The application fee will be billed to your credit card under the name of “Independent School Management (ISM)”, the company which provides the FAST application service.

You must apply for financial aid each year, using the online FAST application. On the application, please use your name as it appears on your tax return. The online application process is self-guided. You can partially complete an application and go back to it another time, if you don’t want to complete the application in one sitting.

After completing the application, please mail copies of your tax return for federal taxes with all schedules and W-2 forms to the address below. Please do not send any originals, and do not fax or e-mail the tax information:

“My son has been at Westwood since preschool. For us, it was the perfect fit. As he has progressed through middle school, I’m constantly amazed by what he is learning. They do a Shakespeare production every year that is truly incredible. My high school exposure to Shakespeare was reading something and answering questions on a quiz. Most of it went completely over my head. He actually UNDERSTANDS the material, which just blows me away.”
