COVID-19 Information

This guide is meant to help students, families, teachers, staff and others in our community with information about how we are moving forward with the 2021-22 school year.

Westwood’s small school size enables us to rapidly respond to keep students safe and to move quickly to act in the best interest of our community.

We appreciate your understanding 😊 Information included here may change based on the course of the virus and guidance from state and local officials.

For questions about learning at The Westwood School during COVID-19, contact Heather Lourcey via email at HLourcey@westwoodschool.org. She will arrange phone calls or face-to-face appointments as necessary.

Spring 2022 – 4 Things to Know

  1. Beginning Tuesday, February 22, 2022, masks are optional for all students and staff members (Since our youngest ages are not eligible to be vaccinated yet, our Toddler & Preschool teachers have agreed to either continue masking or be tested each Monday to prevent any of these students from becoming sick)
  2. How we do some things has changed for the well-being of our students, teachers, staff and community
  3. We remain flexible and ready to adjust to their changing needs
  4. Our commitment to nurturing Toddler – Grade 12 students to succeed in an ever-changing world remains the same
