Summer Camp Details and Policies

Preschool - Upper Elementary Online Registration and Forms

“Your Summer to Shine!” Registration and Information Form (Fillable PDF including billing options) Email completed form to Office@westwoodschool.org. This is due three weeks prior to your child’s camp start date

Per registration form, as needed, please provide any additional details such as current immunization records for non-Westwood students or additional Health Forms listed below.

Camp Schedule

Westwood Summer Camps are offered in nine one-week sessions. See Camp Sessions section or Your Summer to Shine brochure for weeks and themes!

Morning Care: 7:30 am—9:00 am
Morning Care is provided for no charge to all students attending camps that begin at 9:00 am.

Afternoon Childcare: 3:00 pm—6:00 pm
Available throughout the summer.

Preschool part-time options available. 

Registration Information

To receive “Early Bird Discount”, payment in full must be received by May 1, 2020. Otherwise, payment in full is due with registration.

Special Payment Option available when you register a student in 4 or more weeks of camp: 50% payment with registration and balance due June 21, 2020. “Early Bird Discount” will not apply.

Classes fill quickly; we encourage families to register early. Spaces are limited and camps will be closed to additional campers once filled to capacity.

You will be notified at least two weeks prior to the start date of a class if it is full.

Payment and Late Pick Up Fees

There are three ways to process Your Summer to Shine tuition. Payment by Check, payment with Credit Card on File (current families only – current credit card must be on file with office) or payment by Credit Card using Tuition Express (information on registration form.

Drop-in rates are available for Afternoon Child Care. Please contact the office for information. Any child not picked up within 15 minutes of the end of their camp will be charged the drop-in rate of $20.

Westwood closes at 6:00 pm. An automatic late fee of $15 will be charged for any child not picked up by 6:00 pm. An additional $1 per minute will be charged for any child at Westwood past 6:15 pm.

Cancellation Policy

Written notification is due four weeks prior to the start date of a camp. Tuition will then be refunded, minus the registration fee. Without this advance written notification, no refund will be given.

Lunches

Campers must bring a lunch each day of camp. Microwaves and refrigeration are available to all students on campus.

Splash Day

Every Friday all campers on campus will have a Splash Day! For Preschool students, mini pools and water toys will be available. For older campers, an inflatable water slide will be available. All campers should wear a swimsuit underneath their clothes to camp on Fridays and bring a towel and sunscreen. A hat and sunglasses are recommended.

Student Policy

Westwood reserves the right to dismiss any student whose conduct is unsatisfactory or who fails to follow Westwood rules and regulations. No refund will be made to any student who withdraws or is dismissed from a week of camp after the camp has begun.
